Unlimited Revisions at No Extra Charge

For projects completed by Vector Tracing Pro, we provide unlimited revisions at no extra charge within the original agreed project scope until you're 100% satisfied with the final artwork.

Our goal is not simply to send you a vector file. We want the finished artwork to accurately reflect the approved reference and requirements discussed when the project started.

If an adjustment is required within that scope, we'll make the necessary revision without charging an additional revision fee.

What Does “Free Revisions” Mean?

A free revision is a reasonable adjustment to artwork we've created when the requested change remains within the requirements of the original project.

For example, if you asked us to manually recreate an existing logo as vector artwork, revisions to improve the accuracy of that recreation would normally remain part of the same project.

Free revisions may include adjustments such as:

• Correcting lines or curves
• Refining vector paths
• Adjusting shapes
• Fixing alignment
• Correcting spacing
• Matching colors more closely
• Adjusting proportions
• Refining lettering
• Cleaning small artwork details
• Removing unwanted elements discussed within the project
• Correcting details against the original reference

What Are Free Artwork Edits?

In addition to revisions, we can make free artwork edits when those edits are part of completing the originally agreed work.

For example, if we've recreated your logo and you notice that a curve needs to be smoother, an element needs better alignment, or a color needs adjustment, you can request the change without worrying about an additional editing fee.

The important distinction is that the edit should relate to the existing artwork and original project scope.

Free Revision vs. New Design Request

This is the easiest way to understand our revision policy:

Revision

A revision improves, corrects, or adjusts the artwork already included in your project.

New Work

A new request introduces additional artwork, a new concept, a different design direction, or requirements that weren't included when the original project was quoted.

For example:

Free Revision:
“Please make this curve closer to my original logo.”

Free Revision:
“Please adjust the spacing between these letters.”

Free Revision:
“This element should be slightly larger to match the reference.”

New Work:
“Can you create a completely different logo concept?”

New Work:
“Can you also vectorize another logo that wasn't included in the original order?”

New Work:
“Can you redesign the entire illustration in a different style?”

New or additional work can still be completed, but we may need to review the request and provide a separate quote.

What Types of Vector Artwork Can Be Revised?

Our revision support applies to applicable artwork created as part of your Vector Tracing Pro project, including:

Manual Vector Tracing

Corrections to manually reconstructed paths, shapes, curves, lines, colors, and details.

Logo Vectorization

Adjustments to vectorized logos to improve accuracy, alignment, spacing, proportions, or other agreed details.

Logo Recreation & Redraw

Refinements to recreated logos based on the original reference or project instructions.

JPG & PNG to Vector Conversion

Corrections to artwork manually reconstructed from JPG, PNG, or other raster references.

Raster to Vector Conversion

Adjustments to manually recreated raster artwork within the original project requirements.

AI-Generated Artwork to Vector

Refinements to vector artwork reconstructed from AI-generated references, subject to the details and limitations agreed for the project.

Production Vector Artwork

Minor adjustments may be made where needed to meet production requirements provided within the project's agreed scope.

Common Free Vector Artwork Edits

Customers sometimes notice small details after viewing the first completed version at full size.

We can refine curves, corners, outlines, and paths when they need to match the reference more closely.

Color Adjustments

If a color needs to be corrected within the original artwork requirements, send us the desired color reference or value where available.

Spacing & Alignment

Elements, lettering, or design components can be repositioned or aligned where appropriate.

Size & Proportion Adjustments

Individual elements can be adjusted when their size or proportion needs refinement within the existing design.

Detail Corrections

If a visible detail wasn't accurately represented in the first version, point it out and we'll review it against the original reference.

Lettering Corrections

Where lettering is being recreated as part of the agreed artwork, we can correct relevant spacing, positioning, shape, or other details.

Production Adjustments

Where included within the project requirements, artwork may be adjusted for specific production needs such as cleaner paths, simplified details, outlined text, closed paths, or separated elements.

How to Request a Revision

The clearer your feedback, the faster we can understand exactly what needs to change.

When requesting an artwork revision, we recommend sending:

1. The file or version you're reviewing

Tell us which delivered version needs adjustment.

2. A clear description of the change

Instead of saying “something looks wrong,” tell us which element needs attention.

3. A marked screenshot if possible

Circle, highlight, or add an arrow showing the exact area that needs to be changed.

4. A reference

If you want us to match a particular shape, color, line, or detail, attach the relevant reference.

5. Production requirements

If your printer, embroiderer, sign company, wrap installer, engraver, or manufacturer has requested a technical change, send us their exact instructions.

Clear feedback helps reduce unnecessary revision rounds and allows us to make the requested edits more accurately.

Your Printer Requested an Artwork Change?

Sometimes artwork is approved visually, but the production company later requests a technical adjustment.

For example, your printer or manufacturer may ask for:

• Text converted to outlines

If this happens, send us the exact message or specifications provided by your production company.

We'll review the request and determine whether the adjustment is covered by the original project scope.

Revisions for Printing & Production Artwork

Vector artwork may be used across many different production processes, including:

Each production company can have its own requirements.

If production specifications were supplied as part of the original project, we'll use them when preparing the artwork.

If your vendor provides new requirements later, send them to us and we'll review what needs to be changed.

What Is Not Normally Considered a Free Revision?

Our unlimited free revisions apply to the originally agreed scope. They don't mean unlimited new design or unlimited additional artwork.

A separate quote may be required when you request:

• A completely new logo or design
• An additional logo not included in the original project
• A new illustration
• A completely different creative direction
• Major redesign after the original artwork was approved
• Additional artwork or images
• New variations not included in the original agreement
• Significant new production requirements outside the original scope
• Additional services not included in the original quote

What If the Original Reference Is Unclear?

Some vector reconstruction projects begin with extremely blurry, pixelated, damaged, partially hidden, or very small source artwork.

In these cases, certain details may not be clearly visible in the original reference.

We'll recreate the artwork based on the available visual information and agreed requirements. If you later provide a clearer reference that shows how an unclear detail should look, we can review the requested change.

If the new reference substantially changes the original project requirements, we'll let you know before proceeding.

Can I Request Revisions After Receiving the Files?

Yes. If you review the delivered artwork and identify an adjustment covered by the original project scope, contact us with your revision instructions.

Please include the relevant file, screenshot, or reference so our team can quickly identify the required change.

Can You Edit an Existing Vector File?

Yes. We also provide vector artwork editing and vector file cleanup services for existing artwork.

If you already have an AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, DXF, CDR, or another artwork file and need changes, send it to us with your editing instructions.

Depending on the file and requested changes, we can review services such as:

• Vector path cleanup
• Color changes
• Text or lettering updates
• Element removal
• Shape adjustments
• Layout modifications

• File preparation

Please note that free revisions apply to artwork created under an existing Vector Tracing Pro project. Editing unrelated artwork supplied as a new project is a separate service and can be quoted accordingly.

When reconstructing an existing logo or image, customer feedback can be valuable—especially when the only available reference is old, blurry, pixelated, scanned, photographed, or AI-generated.

Our free vector revisions allow reasonable corrections within the agreed scope without making customers worry that every small adjustment will result in another charge.

Tips for Faster Artwork Revisions

You can help us complete revisions more efficiently by:

• Sending all known changes together where possible
• Numbering multiple requested changes
• Marking changes directly on a screenshot
• Providing exact color values when available
• Sharing the clearest available reference
• Forwarding production specifications exactly as received
• Identifying which version you're reviewing
• Explaining the intended use of the artwork

For example, instead of:

“Please fix the logo.”

A more useful instruction would be:

“Please make the outer circle slightly thicker, move the bottom text upward, and match the blue color to the attached reference.”

This makes the required artwork edits immediately clear.

Examples can include correcting a curve, adjusting alignment, refining spacing, modifying an existing color, correcting proportions, or improving a detail already included in the original project.

Whether a specific request is included depends on the originally agreed scope.

Can I change the colors after seeing the vector artwork?

If the color adjustment relates to the existing design and remains within the original project scope, it can generally be handled as a revision.

Providing exact RGB, CMYK, HEX, Pantone, or other applicable color references can help where specific color matching is required.

Can you edit the text in my logo?

If the text correction or adjustment is part of the originally agreed recreation, we can review it as a revision.

Changing the business name, adding new wording, or introducing a substantially different typography treatment may constitute new work depending on the project.

Can you make changes requested by my printer?

Yes. Send us the printer's exact instructions.

We'll review whether the requested production artwork edits are covered by your existing project scope or require additional work.

Can you provide a different file format after a revision?

If the format is part of the project's agreed deliverables, updated versions can be prepared from the revised final artwork.

If you need an additional specialized production format that wasn't included in the original project, send us the requirement for review.

What happens if I want a completely different design?

A completely different design direction is generally considered new design work rather than a revision.

We can still help, but we'll review the new requirements and provide a separate quote where necessary.

Can I send several revision requests at once?

Yes, and this is often the most efficient approach.

Number each requested change and, where possible, include a marked screenshot showing the areas that need attention.

How do I request a revision for an existing order?

Contact us with your name, email address, relevant order or invoice information, and clear revision instructions.

Attach the latest artwork or a marked screenshot so we can identify the correct project and requested changes.
